Albina Rakhmidinova is a Senior lawyer and member of the Banking Microfinance & Insurance, Public-Private Partnership and Project Finance Practice Groups of the firm. Albina’s other areas of practice include taxation and contracts. Albina has extensive experience in representing clients in a variety of banking transactions, including secured lending, financing, refinancing and debt restructuring, and advising foreign and local clients on tax matters. Albina was involved in discussing and drafting public-private partnership (PPP) regulatory framework in the Kyrgyz Republic, including a new PPP law and a number of other related laws and regulations.
- advised Dutch company, one of the largest financiers of the microfinance sector worldwide, with respect to its loans to Kyrgyz leading micro-credit companies;
- advised one of the largest global development financial institution focused exclusively on the private sector, in connection with its financing of Kyrgyz banks;
- advised major Kyrgyz bank in connection with its corporate loans, financial leasing facilities;
- conducted legal due diligence on number of Kyrgyz companies and assets involving the analysis of corporate performance, rights and interests in movable and immovable property and commitments;
- filled in an extensive legal questionnaire for a global nutrition, weigh management and skin-care company in connection with a potential taxation of its local distribution network.
